About Chaz
Chaz Snider is an ordained minister in the Moravian Church and lives with his family in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
He has a BA in Religious Studies and Sociology from Appalachian State University, a Masters of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell theological seminary, and a graduate certificate in Moravian Studies from Moravian Theological Seminary.
When he is not working or researching he enjoys spending time with his wife, Michaleh and three kids Chris, Abby, and Sara. They love visiting the beautiful mountains and coast of North Carolina.
Research Interests
His research interests include philosophy, radical theology, and religious practice in a post-religious world. His specific research focus is on the Christology of the Moravian theologian Count Ludwig von Zinzendorf and its relationship to radical theology through the lens of a contemporary Hegelian interpretation of Christianity. He hopes this research will inform new liturgical and religious practices.
