Dr. Hizkia Yosias Simon Polimpung
Since 2007 Hizkia has taught International Relations Theory & Methodology and Global Political Economy in many universities including Surabaya, Jakarta, and Depok as a non-tenured lecturer. Here is list of University at which Dr. Polimpung has lectured: Airlangga University, Universitas Indonesia, Paramadina University, Paramadina Graduate School of Diplomacy, Al Azhar, University, Pembangunan Nasional Veteran University, and Budi Luhur University.
In 2017, Dr. Polimpung became a tenured lecturer in University of Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. Dr. Polimpung is a pluraldisciplinary researcher, a university lecturer, and a writer. He moonlights as a strategic and business intelligence consultant and sometimes practices clinical pscyhotherapy. Dr. Polimpung holds a doctorate in the philosophy of science and a master in strategic and security studies. Experienced in research both inside and outside the academic “ivory tower”, and with capitalist business districts, as well as with peasant and worker unions, governmental bureaus, military think-tanks, security intelligence, psychotherapeutic clinic, and other community-based settings. He has a keen eye on venturing within the experimental and post-disciplinary worlds of xeno-humanities with a particular interest is the intersection of planetary urbanization, financial geopolitics, postfordist economy, and societal neurosis within the capitalist labor relations domain. Dr. Polimpung is stubbornly convinced of the idea that the true way out of the deep dark sh*t we are in right now is through the hybrid of cybernetically designed cooperatives & workers unions.
