Discover GCAS Events
GCAS hosts many different events from international seminars to guest lectures. In this way, GCAS College Dublin seeks to continue expanding this nomadic strategy between the global and the local: between Dublin, Ireland and other places and locations around the world. Check out more below!
GCAS Events: “The World is our Classroom”
From the first inception of The Global Center for Advanced Studies (GCAS) we have created new and innovative spaces of learning and applied creative and critical thinking. To this end we have occupied dozens of spaces around the world from the Centre Pompidou in Paris, to a museum in Berlin, The Brooklyn Commons in New York City, to The Martin Luther King, Jr. Centre in Havana, Cuba to name only a few. It is our fundamental belief and strategy that thinking and action are grounded to geography and the local struggles for democracy.
We do everything we can to provide these seminars to the public given our resources in a live and interactive fashion. When you enroll as a post-graduate (i.e., post BA studies) you will have full access to all our global and local seminars; indeed we encourage all our researchers and students to actively participate and organize such events.
