multinsensoriality, cultural sociology, experimental literature, multimodal art
Sofia Galli is a faculty member, collaborator, and PhD researcher at GCAS College Dublin. Her doctoral research investigates how readers engage with the theme of loss in experimental, multimodal literature to explore how these encounters cultivate empathy, emotional processing, and awareness of social issues.
As a poet and practitioner, her creative work operates at the intersection of multisensoriality and embodied narrative. Her published works include Linea Gialla (with David Marchetti; Capire Edizioni, 2021) and the bilingual poetry and photography collection X (with Marco Gualtieri; Maschietto Editore, 2026), alongside collaborative sound and spoken-word projects. Based in Florence, Italy, she regularly teaches across various international universities.
