Claudia Landolfi, PhD

Biography

Claudia Landolfi is a philosopher, essayist, licensed psychologist, and philosophical consultant. She
is a theorist of the Ethics of Affect in digital governmentality. She has developed concepts such as
net-confession, legal subject, psychic enclosure, legal principle of subjectivation, informational
matter, governmentalisation of emotions in digital, affective sleepwalker, and affective
rabdomancy on the net. She holds degrees in philosophy and psychology, a doctorate in ethics and
political-legal philosophy, and has worked as a researcher at the University of Maastricht. She has
developed a method for investigating beliefs in the context of crises and an interdisciplinary
research method that combines philosophy, psychology, neuroscience, philosophy of law,
philosophy of politics, and ethics to understand processes of subjectivation in the digital world.
She is the founder of the Academy of Philosophy Mirista.
