Eric Jobe, PhD

Eric Jobe, Ph.D. (University of Chicago) is an independent researcher and software engineer. With a background in ancient Near Eastern languages and structuralist linguistics, Eric pivoted in 2016 to a career in computer science, where he is pursuing research in category theory, functional programming, and computational linguistics while working as a developer. More recent topics of interest include the study of the philosophy of G.W.F. Hegel and the psychoanalytic theory of Jacques Lacan.
