GCAS is a college of Woolf, a collegiate higher education institution licensed in Malta, which awards accredited degrees under the European Standards and Guidelines, in line with EU policy on quality assurance in higher education.
Woolf is an accredited, degree-granting Higher Education Institution licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA, licence no. 2019-015), within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Its licence has been renewed to 2029.
Woolf’s colleges are internal academic units of one institution. Every GCAS student-researcher enrols directly with Woolf, holds a Woolf student ID, and is awarded their degree by Woolf, as has been the case since GCAS joined. All courses carrying ECTS credits are specifically designated as such.
As a college of Woolf, GCAS offers degrees that meet rigorous European standards and are recognised internationally.
