MA in Psychoanalyse

Bionian psychoanalysis, phenomenological psychopathology, Gestalt field theory, Tantra, cultural theory, trauma and collective memory, and post-Soviet subjectivity

Vakhtang Kezheradze is a psychotherapist in private practice, clinical researcher, and educator based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Trained in Gestalt psychotherapy, Vakhtang continued his postgraduate clinical training in phenomenological psychopathology at the Turin School of Psychopathology and is currently completing an MA in Psychoanalysis at the Global Centre for Advanced Studies.

His work places Bionian and post-Bionian field theory, relational and intersubjective psychoanalysis, and Ettinger’s matrixial metapsychology in clinical and epistemological dialogue with phenomenology and nondual Tantric traditions. He is particularly interested in clinical states that cannot yet be mentalized, represented, or symbolized, and in how they may be witnessed, contained, and transformed within the relational field of therapy. His research focuses on trauma, psychic deadness, unformulated affect states, and the gradual emergence of new symbolic capacities. His wider interests include collective melancholia, repetition compulsion, and the psychic legacies of post-Soviet history.

He publishes, teaches, and presents on gestalt therapy, intersubjective psychoanalysis, phenomenological psychopathology, and field-based understandings of human suffering, with particular emphasis on aesthetic and relational dimensions of clinical practice.
