Biography
Hitakshi Negandhi, Co-Director of the One Health initiative alongside Elena Piatenko, brings a warm and human-focused perspective to the intersection of human, animal, and environmental well-being.Her academic journey, culminating in a PhD research focus on Psychoanalysis at GCAS College and an MSc in Applied Psychology, ensures her approach is both thoughtful and deeply informed.
Hitakshi’s professional experience, including her work as an Autism Practitioner and her commitment to person-centered care, has equipped her with a gentle yet highly effective ability to understand and navigate complex human interactions. With a specialized interest in mental health in the workplace, she is dedicated to ensuring that all One Health solutions are socially
sensitive and genuinely sustainable. She is adept at fostering the delicate balance required to optimize the health of people, animals, and ecosystems.
