Philip Willatt is a strategic HR consultant at the University of Cambridge, with extensive experience in higher education, broadcasting, business education and the creative industries. He has held senior HR leadership roles at the London Business School, the National Film and Television School and the University of Sussex, and has worked with organisations including the BBC, the Open University and the University of the Arts London.

He holds an Executive Master’s in Consulting and Coaching for Change from HEC Paris, an MA and BA from the University of Cambridge, and a BA from the Open University. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds advanced qualifications in music, including Fellowships of the London College of Music and the Guild of Church Musicians.

His academic and professional interests include organisational change, human resources, organisational values and the relationship between music, theology and education. His publications include work on Christopher Smart’s hymns for children and on organisational value definition and stakeholder collaboration. He has also served as a co-opted member of the Governance Committee of English National Ballet.
