About Fiqh
Fiqh Vredian Aulia Ali is a member of Prakerti Collective Intelligence, a cognitive cooperative co-owned by critical scholars, activists, and artists in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is interested in the anthropology of secularism and the secular, especially in diagnosing the paradox of religious freedom and liberal multiculturalism and the limits of post-secular propositions. Currently, he attempts to radicalize Talal Asad’s lens in dealing with secular modern predicament by studying heretical, heterodox prescription in political economy and media theory. Fiqh is associated with the Global Centre for Advanced Studies as a Student Researcher.
