Education either functions as an instrument that is used to facilitate the integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity to it, or it becomes ‘the practice of freedom,’ the means by which men and women critically and creatively engage with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world.

GCAS College

BA Mentorship Program

Our first commitment is always to the student and their future. We take seriously the aim of educating the whole unique person, which includes not just the academic and economic health of the student but also, and equally importantly, harnessing the power of a generation that needs an alternative. Unlike the traditional college or university model where courses radically separate different parts of the human, the mind from the body, for example, our educational model focuses on how the different parts of our lives fit together to create a whole person and character with dreams, goals, gifts and desires.

This is why our curriculum includes courses on critical life reflection, confidence and team building, and life strategies. By combining rigorous academic work (taught by world-leading professors and visionaries) with mentors who guide students through building better life habits and skills we believe our program will prepare our students to live life on to its fullest potential. Just imagine the power that will unleash when you give a generation a way out of a system that doesn’t care about them.

24 credit hours are devoted to building character, developing media skills and networks, learning how to edit digital videos, and basic coding skills.
