About Margaret

Margaret Young, (BA, Yale University; MA, University of California-Davis)

She has taught creative writing and American Studies at Allegheny College, College of the Sequoias, Oberlin College, and Endicott College. Young is on the faculty of the Global Center for Advanced Studies and lives in Beverly, Massachusetts. She is affiliated with the Global Centre for Advanced Studies as a lecturer in poetry and literature.

Publications

Margaret Young’s poetry collections are Willow From the Willow (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2002) Almond Town (Bright Hill Press, 2011), and Blight Summer (Finishing Line Press, 2017, nominated for a Massachusetts Book Award). Two books of translations from the Spanish, Sergio Inestrosa’s  Espacio Improbable de un haikú and Luna que no cesa have been published by Obsidiana Press.
