Known for her critical engagement with the Western philosophical canon and Freudian and Lacanian traditions, she explores sexual difference, embodiment, language, and ethics in works such as <em>Speculum of the Other Woman<\/em>, <em>This Sex Which Is Not One<\/em>, and <em>An Ethics of Sexual Difference<\/em>.
