PhD in the Natural Sciences<\/h1>\n

The GCAS Doctor of Philosophy in Natural, Mathematical, and Computational Sciences trains researchers to produce original, rigorous contributions in their chosen discipline. The program centers on deep tech research \u2014 projects that confront significant scientific or engineering challenges across fields including agriculture, climate science, computation, pharmaceuticals, mathematics, theoretical physics, and chemistry. Students develop the analytical, methodological, and writing skills required of independent researchers, working under close supervision by experts in their field.
