Daryl Mendoza, Independent Researcher
I finished my MA in Philosophy at the University of San Carlos in Cebu City, Philippines. I teach Ethics as a general education course; and I teach courses on Marxism and Metaphysics to philosophy students, and political science students for the former. I have published an article or two on the thought of Jean Baudrillard. When workload permits - in this part of the globe we are given 24 contact hours in the classroom per week -, I am interested in looking at the possibility of understanding the structure of media as a part of Agamben’s biopolitical machine.
