About Heinrich
Heinrich Hort is an interdisciplinary autodidact passionate about language, art, philosophy, nature, and technology. He has worked in different areas including social work, Information technology, and sustainable agriculture, living in Germany, Wales, Hungary and Costa Rica. Some of his previous activities include contributing to a Philosophy book, taking the leading role in establishing a works council in a multinational company, and maintaining a forest garden. His main focus during the last years and at present is on exploring, developing and implementing different methods and practices within the sphere of self-sufficient sustainable living.
Heinrich is from Berlin but is currently building a self-sustainable farm in Costa Rica whilst completing his BA-MA with GCAS. Heinrich is associated with the Global Centre for Advanced Studies as a developer as well as a GCAS student researcher.
