About Claudia

Claudia Cofré (1977) PhD in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain. His interests are focused on the relationships that art can sustain with philosophy and politics in the present, which open new spaces of thought between the problems that each discipline poses, but also in the relationship of art with itself, with its own limits and contradictions.

Research Interests

He has studied the Master in Theory and Practice of Contemporary Art at the Complutense University of Madrid. His research focused on the study of contemporary artistic practices and their relation to art theories of a social and political nature, investigating the relationships between aesthetics, ethics and politics, relations between the center versus the periphery, power, memory and identity present in a good part of the current artistic production. She has collaborated as a researcher and cultural manager in the Cruce Critical Thinking Center of Madrid, and in the production of different exhibitions in galleries and public Museums, which include: Os Ajudantes, Cuatro Travesía Gallery, Madrid, Epaña; Itineraries XII, Botin Foundation, Santander, Spain, both in 2016.
